Pterorhynchus wellnhoferi sits on on a branch showing off hes crest while first specks of volcanic ash are falling.

I know I know, theres syuff to fix on my pterodactylus painting , and that should have been the priority, but I just had the idea for this painting and felt like doing it rigth then and now. :)

Anyhoo, on that note, I LOVE this pic. His crest looks so awesome with the light shining through it. I don't know which pterosaur pic is better, this one or your adorable Nemicolopterus one!

That crest reminds me of the light coming through the throat dewlaps of the anoles we have here...

Well that was exactly the effect I wanted. :)

I was originally thinking of making it red like in carolina anoles but thought that yellow might be better.
